Stirling.gov.uk remains the platform for all ongoing digital interaction with the Council, such as payments, requesting a service or reporting an issue, but residents can now visit beta.stirling.gov.uk to see how the new website will look, and leave feedback to help developers make final adjustments.
Cllr Margaret Brisley, Finance and Economy Convener said: “Online services play a crucial role in how we interact with the public and this new website will make that process quicker, easier and more efficient.
“This last phase of testing will help us check for any bugs, issues or last minute design changes we need to make before we go live next year.”
The refreshed layout, design and functionality of the Beta test website is based on extensive research with the public and puts the most sought after Council services and information up front.
In the meantime, the Council’s existing website – www.stirling.gov.uk – is still live and people should continue to use this for all payments, requests or online contact with the Council until the new site is officially launched in early 2022.
Cllr Alison Laurie, Vice Convener said: “We’re not far away from the final design and this last stage of testing will get us there. We’re grateful for all the feedback and comments we’ve received from the groups who’ve helped us get to this stage, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished article after this last stage of testing.”
Links to feedback forms on the Beta website are at the top of the home page, and the bottom of each information page.
Residents can also call 01786 404040 if they wish to provide comments on the test site over the phone.
