Following a rigorous selection process, chaired by Council Leader Scott Farmer, Carol was unanimously appointed by the recruitment panel to the post this afternoon (Thursday, 7 March).
Carol joined Stirling Council in 2014 as Senior Manager for Economic Development and took on the role of Interim Chief Executive in August 2018, following a four-month term as Depute Chief Executive.
She said: “It is an incredible privilege and honour to be given this opportunity. Stirling Council is filled with the most dedicated and hardworking staff and I look forward to continuing our excellent work together to make all of Stirling a place where everyone can thrive.”
