Stirling Council and Balfron Community Council are holding a drop-in event as part of the Balfron Active Places project on Monday 17 June, from 3pm to 8pm at McLintock Hall (Lower Hall).
The event relates to proposals being developed for the Buchanan Street and Station Road areas, and will offer the chance to discuss detailed designs and leave feedback with the design team.

A second event will also be held on Monday 22 July, 3pm to 8pm, McLintock Hall (Lower Hall) for the community to review the concept design ideas being developed for the whole village Active Travel Plan.
As part of the July event there will also be a ‘walk and talk’ session around the village to discuss issues at certain locations on site.
Stirling Council secured funding from Sustrans through the Places for Everyone Programme to progress the Balfron Active Places project through the development of plans to improve key areas, as well as designs to create a safe network of walking and cycling routes in Balfron
Convenor of the Environment and Housing Committee, Cllr Jim Thomson, said: “This is an exciting project which provides an opportunity for the Council and community to work together to improve the environment in key parts of the village.
“By working together we can deliver improvements to the infrastructure, in accordance with our own strategies and plans, improving access for everyone across Stirling.”
