Following discussions with the property owner of the fire damaged building at Murray Place, Stirling Council has made the following statement:
“The building owner’s appointed contractor will be on site today (afternoon of 18 April).
“They anticipate to complete the proposed remedial works within 10 days.
“Once it has been completed and verified as safe by the Council’s Building Standards service, it is intended to reopen Murray Place to traffic.
"A contingency plan remains in place for the Stirling Marathon and further updates will be provided once works are progressing on site”.
