The rail operator is advising customers to plan their journey in advance and to consider travel options as the second-ever Stirling Marathon takes place on Sunday, April 29, with the Thistles Great Stirling Family Run being held on the Saturday.
Major improvement and track renewal work taking place between Perth and Larbert on Sunday April 29 mean buses will replace trains between Glasgow Queen Street / Falkirk Grahamston and Perth.
However, due to road closures during the Stirling Marathon, ScotRail is unable to provide any replacement transport to or from Bridge of Allan until 3.30pm.
Customers travelling from Dunblane station will board a mini shuttle bus service from the police station on Perth Road to Daniel Street (Perth Road), to connect with larger replacement buses for onward travel.
ScotRail will have extra staff at the station, as well as the replacement bus stops to help customers.
