100 days to go Poster

From August 2 to 12, Scotland will welcome Europe’s finest athletes to compete for the first time as part of this new multi-sport event.

Stirling will see Europe’s elite road cyclists race through its iconic streets, giving local sports fans the opportunity to witness this momentous event – for free.

Stars from the Aquatics, Cycling, Golf, Gymnastics, Rowing and Triathlon worlds will also take part in events across Glasgow, with co-host city Berlin also hosting Athletics.

One million residents, visitors, spectators, athletes and media will be part of the sporting and cultural experience of Glasgow 2018 this summer.

Alongside the sporting action, Festival 2018 will offer more than 100 unmissable performances as part of a world-class arts and culture programme being staged in Glasgow’s George Square, Merchant City, Stirling, East Dunbartonshire and Edinburgh.

A vibrant carnival atmosphere will be created in the city with GO LIVE! at The Green in Glasgow offering young people, families and communities ‘have-a-go’ sporting and healthy living activities alongside innovative arts, family entertainment and the best in Scottish food and drink.

Make sure you are part of the biggest sporting event to be hosted in Scotland since the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
