The Stirling nursery was marked as excellent for its ‘quality of care and support’ and ‘quality of environment’.
The Care Inspectorate report highlighted the excellent service provided at the nursery, which meets the needs of children and families.
And the inspector said: “The leadership team have a solution-focused approach, which is effective in bringing about positive changes to the lives of the children and families they support.”
Comments from parents, carers and other professionals supported the evidence of excellence.
One parent said: "As parents, the communication with us on all matters has been excellent. We are always consulted and what is best for our child has always been at the heart of decision-making in conjunction with the necessary relevant professionals."
Another parent added: “As a parent I feel that the staff really know my child and go 'above and beyond' to provide an individual learning experience. Not only is my daughter progressing in an active academic life but is becoming a kind and caring individual with the support of her peers and staffing.”
“Fantastic nursery, inclusive in every sense of the word. Nothing is too much trouble.”
“The team communicate very effectively, clearly within themselves and also with me, raising appropriate concerns always with information sharing and confidentiality in mind. I have a huge amount of respect for the work the team deliver."
Irene McPherson, Acting Head of Nursery, said: “I am delighted that this inspection recognised and valued our very well thought out, and inclusive, learning environment, which provides a calm and purposeful context for children to engage in high quality learning.”
Councillor Susan McGill, Education Committee Convener, said: “This inspection report of Arnprior Nursery by the Care Inspectorate highlights the motivation and dedication of the staff team, resulting in the provision of a learning environment which addresses the needs of the children allowing them to excel. This is an excellent report and the children, staff and wide community should, rightly, be very proud of this achievement.
