The makers are looking for a local resident to become a VIP for the day and to help them launch the game. For a chance to win, all you need to do is tell Monopoly ‘Why I am in Love with Stirling’.
The lucky ‘VIP’ winner will receive a special signed board from Toy Hub in Bridge of Allan and will be invited along to take part in the game launch.
Stirling Council Leader Scott Farmer commented, “We’re looking forward to seeing the launch of the Stirling Monopoly in October and it only seems right to launch the local version of this iconic game in the historic Stirling Castle grounds. This competition is a great chance to be part of what will be a very memorable day and with our amazing city, it shouldn’t be too hard to find a reason to love Stirling.”
Games Executive Emma Lodwick, who is responsible for developing the local edition of the game added, “The winner will get to be real Stirling VIP for the day.”
“That’s Very Important Player, as well as Person. The board will be a love letter to Stirling and we are absolutely delighted with how it is shaping up, so close to its production stage. We feel searching for someone who loves the city the most to get the first board is a great way to help celebrate the launch.”
Stirling Castle has also been announced as the first local landmark to claim a space on the board.
