As a childminder I offer lots of different activities. We have a lovely, enclosed large back garden with lots of opportunities for the children to develop their own unique personality. Some examples of activities outside play are; loose parts, workbench, mud kitchen area, water wall, ball run and much more. Inside we have lots of educational toys that the children have a pick of loose parts tuff tray, sensory play, messy play, and so much more. We use local toddler groups and trips we also have brilliant woodland on our doorstep.

I am a fully registered childminder. I work in partnership with Stirling council to provide funded hours when required.

 

My main objective has always been to offer a “Home from Home” environment. All children in my care feel loved, nurtured and cared for and are supported and encouraged to develop and learn.

We have a fantastic outdoor space with loads of learning opportunities. We have a great mud kitchen, a music wall and fab water play areas in the garden. We have chickens which the children are encouraged to interact with. They are great family pets but also a great learning tool for the children. We often use our freshly collected eggs for our lunches and any baking we do. This gives the children a direct link to where their food comes from and promotes an interest in the welfare of the animals.

 

I offer drop off and pick up’s from our local school in Kippen and our local nursery in Arnprior.

 

I can provide snacks and meals on arrangement and all food provided is detailed within my Healthy Eating Policy. I am fully registered with Stirling Council’s Environmental Health to provide food and have a valid Pass certification.
